Day 5 Paris - EA, PA

Our rides for the day. By far the best way to see Paris and well worth the 1.70 Euro a day.

Crepes...Now this is the where you get good Crepes. This is near the Pantheon.

Champs Elysee - The only way to really get to the Arch de Triumph is to weave through the traffic on bikes. There is nothing more thrilling!!

Microwave cake - did you know you can bake a cake in 5 minutes in the microwave???? It was really good. Take a look on google for some recipes.

Baby Shopping - Soon to be parents, Susana & Bruno, were bartering for bulk deals on baby wipes.

Ticket - If you don't live in Paris, you don't pay. So you just collect tickets

To Go - Pink Beer for the road. When you get two beers for one and you are leaving, they give you a beer "to go".

Day 4 Madrid to Paris - EA, PA

A 12 hr ride and a midnight departure started as one normally would...getting stopped at a drug checkpoint. Luckly the police dogs weren't interested in our tortilla and bread or we wouldn't have had any snacks.

"Can you drive?" The headnodding yes wasn't an answer but a second of REM sleep and a head nodding off. We needed a 1 hr nap.
Paris apartment...
This is where we are...

"Dude, how do you turn on the hot water?" There is nothing like a cold shower to keep you young. Oh, yeah and the Bastille in the background

Notre Dame

When in Paris, you must eat crepes...to those that come visit Paris, we'd say find a better place than we did.

Love Locks

Bubbleman & the Louvre

Birthday cake & Tart

New Friends, Old Friends, Older Friends

Rum bar...a drink called Passion Fruit punch is not what you'd expect. Rum with a side of Passion fruit.

You're going to drink that?
Yes I will.
Oh god that is bad.

Day 3 Madrid - EA, PA, SB

Mornings in Spain aren't complete without an amazing breakfast from our great hosts. (Note: Spanish Tortilla shouldn't be confused with a Mexican tortilla (ie. flatbread) as its more like and Italian Fritata)
A typical household doesn't need a wine opener, they need a leg holder...Ham anyone?

The tube...cleanest and cheapest tube ever!

Teleferic had great views. Others might call it a skyway or gondola

Singing in the Rain & Walking in the Park

1 Euro lunch...yummmm
